W7. Almost back to normal.

W7. Almost back to normal.

Recovering has been slower than I thought, but yesterday was my last day of antibiotics and currently praying to whatever higher power that this was the last if my series of sickness and I can return to normal routines.

Nothing makes me more a grumpy shell of myself as being sick and unable to move.

Spot the bunny.

This week

... I'm focusing on health! Going for walks, yoga, and weights.

... I went to a physiotherapist who diagnosed me in five minutes, gave me a bunch of exercises to do daily, and spent an hour on a brutal (but helpful) treatment. Hoping this will sort out my hip issues.

... I started reading The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins. So far it's an absurd and entertaining tale, just what I was in the mood for.

... I'm aiming to send out the first newsletter of the year. Really, this time!

... I'm looking forward to another padel practice. There is something liberating with being really bad at something, but still enjoying the process of slight improvements.

Last week

... was pretty uneventful. Practiced some padel, had some beach time, and joined a boat trip. Still suffered from sickness sadness.

... I was very happy to be able to work again though! Give me a coffee and let me sit uninterrupted with my iPad for a few hours, it's all I ask.

... I tried reading Tom Lake, but it's turning into a sleep story. I don't mind slow paced stories but this just feels too thin for me.

... I listened to too many podcasts about OpenClaw and Moltbook. Hard Fork does is best, as usual.
