I'm from Sweden, where I spent part of my childhood growing up in the middle of the woods. Not an exaggeration; the nearest neighbor lived twenty kilometers away. With few people to talk to, I spent most of my time with books. I mention this to explain why I never felt home in Sweden. My world was shaped more by fiction than people around me. Which might explain why I've been semi-nomadic since 2015 and currently call Lisbon home.
I've been writing online in various forms and on platforms since I was an angsty teenager 2002 (yeah, you do the math). This is the current iteration, where I write about experiences, opinions and reflections. I also rebooted my newsletter, more or less my content consumption diary, now called nuggets.
I love to read, practice aerial arts, go on multi-day hikes in the mountains, and challenge myself by trying something new. My favorite evening activity involves red wine and hours of philosophical discussions, but I'm not against dancing all night if the music is right. Oh, and giving book recommendations is my love language.
