W37. Did someone say autumn?
Back in Lisbon it's still 30 degrees. The beaches are full. Nobody is talking about sweater season. I look through the window of the flat where I will be living the next few months. Gloomy sky. Rain is coming, but not here yet. Trees are still green, but kind of a sad green, mixed with yellow.
I put on a pot of coffee, because I haven't bought beans for my aeropress yet, play some random chill morning playlist. Light some candles while I'm at it. Might as well surrender to it, the new season.
This summer has been so fucking hot I'm not even sure I mind. We usually leave Lisbon July and August to not have to endure the 35-40 degrees temperature every day, but this year it followed us. Hot on the road, hot on the mountains, hot in Berlin, hot at Fusion, hot everywhere except Sweden.
So I guess I'm okay with it. Although I look longingly at my shorts and dresses I brought. I thought we'd have more time together.
Last week was hectic. I've been staying on a couch for over two weeks but on Thursday I could move into the sublet I'll be living at for a few months. It's a cute flat, reminds me of where I used to live in my late 20s.

What I eat when I'm left to my own devices. It ain't pretty, but gets the job done.

We got a visitor at the office and no more work was done that day due to excessive cuteness.

Testing my way through flat whites to find the best one, and so far, none has been perfect. This was close though.

Had a conference day at Fotografiska, which ended with bubbles and a tour. Not familiar with Martin Parr but I really enjoyed this exhibition. Interesting to talk about how street photography has changed since the 80's.

Getting to know my new neighborhood and apparently there's an adorable sauna you can book. Will be coming back here!

Took my special visitor out for a date night. Cafe Nizza (as you can see the pasta had an uncanny resemblance to a bowl of larvae, but it tasted so good I forgive them) and The Invite at Bio Rio. I had high expectations, but I did not think I would laugh that much? Go see it.

Walked around Djurgården on Sunday and stopped by this cafe for coffee. Apparently the entire city had the same plan so, we quickly passed on that plan.
This week will be focused on getting my routines in order. Rent an ebike, figure out the routes, test out a new calisthenics gym, and maybe I'll even join an after work on Friday. Let's see!
