When I stripped away the great swells of feeling that obscured it, I could see how those habitually compelled by this ecstasy were almost robotic in their pursuit, like sex Roombas. Over the past three months I had observed this dynamic more often than I had participated in it, and I had come to understand that it was not a compliment to be pursued by a sex Roomba.
"Sex Roomba" lives rent free in my vocabulary now.
π€Έπ»ββοΈ While I pushed my boundaries during the hike in July, the rest of my time traveling was less active than normal. I had pain in neck and spine after the injury and it got triggered when doing things I would usually do, like handstands and planks, so I mainly did reformer pilates. Being home means access to all my favorite trusted teachers and I could not be happier.
